I am overly jealous that you got to go to Monaco. I've only experienced it via the Travel Channel, but it is a place I definitely want to visit.
Also, if you go back to France again before returning to the good old States, you should definitely check out Mont St. Michel and Normandy Beach. Mont St. Michel is essentially a castle on a hill in the middle of the ocean with a tiny town surrounding the base of the island. And Normandy Beach is officially American soil, which is kind of neat despite the reason why.
